Tutorial 6: Adding markings

Once all the notes have been entered it’s time to start adding markings, including tempo markings, dynamics, articulations, and so forth. Finale has three tools devoted to adding these types of markings: the Articulation tool, Expression tool, and Smart Shape too. By the end of this tutorial, you will know which tool to choose for each type of marking, how to use keyboard shortcuts to enter them quickly, and how to quickly copy markings from one measure to another.
